What do I do when I lose mobile network connection while live streaming?

When you’re streaming in an area with poor mobile coverage your stream will automatically try to adjust itself to lower bitrate so that your stream stays online. In the case if you fully lose mobile network connectivity, our system will automatically switch to your “Be right back” (BRB) scene.

This way your stream will stay on while you can move to an area with better mobile coverage. The moment the system detects there’s sufficient bandwidth to stream again, it will automatically switch back to your Live scene. Also, you will be notified about these switches by the bot in your chat.

Bitrate notifications in chat

You will see the below chat notification when our servers automatically switch to your “BRB (Be Right Back)” scene when no or insufficient bandwidth is available (there is no video feed received from your camera, probably because you’re in an area with poor 4G/5G coverage, your camera is overheating or you simply switched off your camera).

First and foremost, it’s important to learn what these numbers mean. Please read that first.
