Can I fix my stream if it ever looks or sounds weird?

You sure can! You can refresh all ingests by typing !f in chat. A moderator and an AntiScuff admin can also do this for you, but a viewer can’t. Directly after typing !f in chat, your stream will try to refresh itself. This whole process will take about 5-10 seconds.

DO NOT SPAM !f IN CHAT. It won’t help and will only take longer to get your connection back once you lost it. Move to a location with better network coverage FIRST, and type !f in chat AFTER.

Also be sure to teach your moderators to not spam the !f command.

Why is it bad to spam !f in chat?

Every time you type !f in chat, the server will disconnect and reconnect your video feed, kind of like a “power off / power on” cycle. This process takes 5-10 seconds. Should you type !f in chat multiple times, then the server will reconnect your videofeed multiple times as well, with each request taking about 5-10 seconds to complete.

So what do I do if my videofeed doesn’t want to show properly?

Do !b in chat first, to check your bitrate and RTT. If these results don’t look good (as described in this help article), move to a spot with better 4G/5G reception first!
