How to connect to Remote Desktop on MacOS Print

For MacOS

We will need to install Microsoft Remote Desktop from the App Store

MacOS - Search for App Store

Once the App Store is open, we need to find Microsoft Remote Desktop

Within the MacOS App Store, search for Remote Desktop and select Microsoft Remote Desktop - Work from anywhere

 

MacOS App Store - Installing Microsoft Remote Desktop

Click on Install

 

MacOS App Store - Showing Microsoft Remote Desktop has been installed and can open from there

Once installed, you can open it from within the App Store or from the App Drawer

 

MacOS Desktop - Searching for Microsoft Remote Desktop in App Drawer

Search for Remote within the app drawer and select Microsoft Remote Desktop

 

Microsoft Remote Desktop - Add a PC

Once open, click on Add PC

 

Microsoft Remote Desktop - Add in Server Details

PC Name
IP Address as found within the Client Portal

User Account
Add a User Account

Microsoft Remote Desktop - Add User Account

Input the Username and Password as found within the Client Portal

 

Microsoft Remote Desktop - Select New Server

The server will now show on the main screen of the Microsoft Remote Desktop app, click on the server to launch

 

Microsoft Remote Desktop - Accept Certificate Error

Accept the certificate error, and then you should see the desktop
